Just an update on John DePetro, the fill-in Savage had last week.
I looked up the Lynn MA story about overage high school students. He did have his facts straight on that one, if the NY Daily News is to be believed. I’m still creeped out by his pre-occupation with the potential sexual aspect of it.
After googling DePetro, though, it seems to me that he is a sleaze, as I suspected. I was frankly surprised that Savage had him fill in two days because he mentioned CNS news on the first day, and Savage hates those guys’ guts. People on the east Coast are no doubt more familiar with DePetro, but it was the first time that I, as a left coaster, had heard of him. He was caught faking some Arbitron diaries in 2008. This came out during a messy divorce. He also had a sexual harrassment scandal.(Remember how Savage still ridicules Bill O’Reilly for his sexual harrassment travails?) These stories were in mainstream news sources, not leftwing sources.
