How much more unspeakable pain and torture can there be when getting your head sawed off?
Plus knowing that your death is being used to further their cause by portraying Americans as weak sheep going passively to their death. I would be kicking and biting and spitting and cursing, the worse they can do is kill me and hey, maybe I can take one or two with.
The beheading takes a few seconds...they could draw out extreme pain for days.
That's pretty bad. But there's a lot of ways to die that are probably at least as agonizing.
Burning alive.
Gut shot and left to die for three days.
Slow slicing, the Chinese method of execution for a thousand years.
Google "the boats," the ancient Persian method. I'm not going to describe it.
Thrown to the lions.
Impalement.
Crucifixion.
For thousands of years people actually competed to find methods of execution that were the most torturous and humiliating.
