He’ll just have to return to his job as towel boy at the gay bath house.
No team needs the distraction.
Exactly.
Agenda-driven media whores.
Thing is, you either got game, or you don’t. Media wants “gay”. Sam’s got a lot of the latter, not enough of the former.
“Gay’s” not going to win games.
Doesn't look like that's happening either.
Even with NT Ray McDonald getting busted today for domestic violence, and Aldon Smith on suspension.
They'll sign some other veteran/castoff before they sign him.
Personally, I hope the Redskins sign him.
I would love to see the confusion and exploding heads at ESPN...
It is not PC to have him take an AIDS test every week, but if ye ever gets infected and passes it to another player on the field through blood, spit or sweat, the lawsuits will fly. And, the team he is on will pay through the nose.
True, but what does the bible say about the morality of homosexuality? you missed that part.
A "once-tight" end.
Could it be Sam is just a lousy player?
NFL is a business like any other and if you cant do the job you get shown the door.
Its Surprising that any team drafted him because all eyes would be watching and waiting to see what you do next and ready to pounce if you show the smallest of Homophobic hints.
And both men's supporters claim that their champion was cut for every reason other than the real one; inability to play football at the pro level.
I wasn't aware that the NFL was the arbitrator of what is moral and what is not.
I’ve been saying that for quite some time - he’s a wrongful death suit(s) waiting to happen that could financially destroy a team or the NFL itself.
Each time I’ve posted this on PFT, they delete the post. Obviously, Florio et al are flaming leftwing homo supporters who refuse to acknowledge reality.
I agree. In addition, the constant media scrutiny is a distraction and there’s a legion of lawyers ready to take his case if he alleges anti-gay bias. There’s just too many ways that a team could get killed financially. In the cost-benefit analysis, there’s just no way to make it work.
Slow and weak (for his position) at the combine.
When you're a 2nd/3rd stringer you need to be a good special teams player because that's how those guys are normally used. Apparently he's not.
There’s a lot of speculation that Lyle Alzado died from AIDS, not steroids. Word from his hometown is that he frequented the gay clubs. I’ve seen it written by people with medical expertise that Lyle’s timelines and explanations of his cancer have a lot of problems.
I’m not saying steroids are a good thing. But carcinogenic? Lyle was onto something that nobody else is or was in the medical profession. Hmmmm.
What round did he go in? Was his drafting ever anything more than a publicity stunt?
A fist-end.
