Can’t you just push back with:

“Well, that’s just ANOTHER LIE from the Democrats!

Just like

“You can KEEP your own Doctor.” Lie!

“Your medical insurance rates will go DOWN.” Lie!

“This is a STRONG ecomonic recovery. Lie!

“The IRS did NOT target Obama’s enemies.” Lie!

“Our consulate in Benghazi WAS safe.” Lie!

“We do NOT need to keep troops in Iraq.” Lie!

“America’s southern border IS secure.” Lie!

etc...”

“would allow intelligent design and creationism to be taught alongside evolution in science classes.”

Won't happen.
Those who teach evolution know that it looks pale compared to the Science that backs up Creation Science and destroys the notions of evolution.

That's why the atheists are so afraid to have both sides taught.

In Louisiana, they play up the “creationism is coming to classrooms” angle and then subtly slide in that it could also permit teachers to teach lessons that question the tale of man made global warming.
