what the heck is “piston slap”?....sounds perverted....

Its when the skirt of the piston collides with the lower cylinder wall near the end of the intake stroke, making a click.

It usually means that the piston was fitted too loose, but it also can be caused by extreme wear, usually around 300K miles.
