This crap is only in Austin. The biggest reason is that the majority of voters fail to show up for silly council elections. Allendale Village and the area near to ut are always heavily represented during council elections. Both are very liberal areas.

This same council voted to put a transportation issue on the ballot in Nov. that would allow them to pass $4 billion in bonds for a choo, choo train to serve a few residents. Not one cent to improve IH 35.
