I was never a Dr Who fan but clicked a YouTube link of a scene from the “Van Gogh” episode with Matt Smith and “Amy Pond”. It was the final scene when Amy realizes VG still committed suicide - it was quite touching.

I subsequently checked out the DVDs of the Matt Smith/Amy Pond episodes and really, really liked them.

I tried other Dr Who versions but found them quite wanting - actually rather boring...so the Smith/Pond episodes will be the only versions I’ll view.

Tony Curran played Van Gogh in that episode. He’s a great actor. He played Marcus in Underworld. Now he’s a regular on Defiance as Datek Tarr the alien crime boss.
