JURUPA VALLEY, Calif. -- A Southern California school district has apologized to parents of special education students who were outraged to learn their children had been sorting trash as a school activity.
Jurupa Unified Superintendent Elliot Duchon made the apology at a heated meeting Monday night. He also said the activity - which was part of a functional skills program at Patriot High School to teach students general life skills like budgeting and purchasing groceries - had been suspended, the Press-Enterprise reported Wednesday.

They were teaching Special Ed students “life skills”
Preparing them for their future in Obamaville.
Sadly for some that future is here today.
And here I thought the green left wanted everyone to know how to sort trash. Are they worried that these kids might someday compete with their union members for trash sorting jobs?
There is no slime level below which a public school will not go.
When will the parents tell them to take their apologies and shove it? When will they understand this is only the tip of the iceberg?
Homeschool. Stop the abuse.
In Obamaland, that level of work is reserved for those with masters degrees in Waste Sortation Science.

When you hear this from any school official, you know they are lying. They can have file drawers overflowing with complaints and still insist, “You’re the first to complain.”
