Are they stripping the shelves of Kosher foods or products made in Israel? I’m guessing Kosher. Funny that many Kosher and Halah foods follow the same laws so there’s too many crossovers to make sure which is which.
That pic of the small section of empty shelf is nothing compared to our local chain grocery HEB. Guesstimate 10% of the shelves here are empty at all times. Usually it’s the basics like bread and canned goods. If there’s a national coupon, that product is pulled. Many of the sales circular items are not ordered or pulled or don’t ring up with the sale price. Most of the time you have to ask them to look in the back for common cuts of meat because they only put 4-6 packages out on the selves at a time. Want an olive more exciting than the usual canned black or green? Ha, you’ve come to the wrong place. Want a head of cauliflower? Hmm, try back next month. Forget that 3 days to an empty store in times of crises, our one and only store will be empty within 15 minutes.
“Are they stripping the shelves of Kosher foods or products made in Israel?”
At the store in question, all kosher food whatever its provenance.
