I've been cross country on Amtrak. Not in the sleeper car though. It was fun. You miss a lot on an airplane, mainly the view. I would not miss being manhandled by the TSA. Plus ahmad and mohammad tend not to take Amtrak so it's cool. You may take animals on Amtrak but they still have to ride in the luggage car. Still beats the department on an airplane.
