WASHINGTON (CBS DC) – Former Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas blasted civil rights leader Rev. Al Sharpton in a race-laced rant, claiming he made the incendiary Ferguson, Mo., situation even worse.
Writing in a lengthy Instagram caption, Arenas attacked Sharpton’s reaction to the police shooting of unarmed teenager Michael Brown in the St. Louis suburb and the riots that are ongoing in the wake of the incident. Arenas’ rant pleaded with Brown’s family to leave Sharpton out of their planned protest, saying that “caesar the monkey” or a “Planet of the Apes” character could get the family better justice.

Arena’s suggesting that rioters would be better off killing whites and burning white neighborhoods.

Arenas and the rest of them should stick to basektbal, shootings, and making welfare babyees. Thats all they know anyway. And drugs. They love drugs. They give drugs to there welfare babyees. St Louis Law Enforcement had a good chance to cut down on welfare the other night but they were using rubber buletts. To bad, so sad, not mad, been had, aim beteer.

Sharpton is a self-serving, camera seeking, race pimping, yellow dog, slime sucking con-man.
Anyone that lets Sharpton get close to them is either a sucker or no better than him in my opinion.

I beg to differ on what Arenas is suggesting. His Instagram post, calling out Sharpton, also includes:
“I would like to start off by saying too the family of the victim GOD BLESS#RIPmichealbrown you will be missed: too EVERY African American out there..how dumb are we really???every time we hear some bad news, the first thing we do is #RIOT #ROB #STEAL #BURN sh-t in our OWN neighborhoods..this racism fight has never been #blackvswhite, it’s ALWAYS been #blackvsblack from what the stats.. About 10 riots from the black community over the years and the only thing damaged ,was the BLACK COMMUNITY by The BLACK COMMUNITY..only reason they issue riot police isssss just in case you actually got smart enough to walk 6 blocks ,YALL ain’t f-cking up white rich sh-t smdh.”
It seems to me that Arenas is against rioting, looting, killing, and burning.
Arenas got much flak in the past because of exercising his 2nd Amendment rights. That was the basis for his conflict with Sharpton that began years ago.
