Has anyone seen “World’s greatest Dad”? Starring Robin Williams?
Plot goes something like, he’s a teacher, his kid is an ignorant, arrogant moron. Robin Williams character comes home to find his kid with belt around his neck in front of the computer watching porn, dead. RW character procedes to hang body in the closet and then writes a suicide note that everyone praises, turning the kid from a zero into a hero.
Art imitating life? Or did he really kill himself.
Reportedly there was a knife and some superficial wounds to his wrist. He may have recalled the situation from the movie but it wasn’t his first choice.
Jerry Lewis almost killed himself (with a gun) because of severe back pain (since improved because of a surgery that installed an administerable electrical charge to override the pain signals). He didn’t go through with it because one of his grandkids walked in. He mentioned this on television at least once.
