How do you hang yourself while sitting down?

* * *

Apparently this is the new thing in suicide circles. That woman designer who killed herself a few mnths ago did the same thing. It seems you can wedge a belt into a door, then sit down and as long as you’re suspended a bit off the ground, that’s enough. Maybe it wouldn’t even hurt, if you put the belt around your neck and just kind of leaned in a bit at a time. You might just get hazy around the edges and then pass out. I would think it would take great determination, though.

It seems I’m always way behind on the latest fads. I can’t see having that much determination not to stand up whereas there’s little chance of messing up doing it the old fashioned way of jumping off a chair. Since he had superficial cuts on his arms, he didn’t have the determination to go through with slashing his wrists. Apparently, he had an entire pharmacy of legal and illegal drugs on hand that would require much less determination. Oh, well.

Little sympathy for someone who had the world at his beck and call to do this. Big deal, his lastest show was a flop as if every actor doesn’t have flops. Big deal, he didn’t have the multi-millions he once had. I’d like to be “bankrupt” on the millions he still had. If he never made another movie, he was still very well set for the next 30 years. His exes, well, that was his choice but he had a nice family from them and what a horrible selfish thing that he’s now put on his children. The onset of Parkinsons? As if no one has ever had a good life dealing with medical problems, especially the likes of Michael J. Fox, uh huh.
