Kingdom of the Bards (Relaxing Music)

Kingdom of the Bards

From the composer:

"A relaxing and peaceful composition in which I wanted to mix Celtic elements with melodies from the Medieval times. It's the first of its kind on my discography but probably not the last.^^ Composed and arranged 100% by myself on keyboard, as always."

We need more relaxing on this site. A bit less “we’re doomed”. or at least a time-out.

I agree. And let’s all try to be nicer to one another. :) Fights are good sometimes to break up the monotony, but I do like a heavy dose of sweetness, too. :)

If you are interested in more from this composer, I discovered him yesterday. Kingdom of the Bards was on this compilation of his music (link below). Lots of good tunes, I thought.

A bit less “we’re doomed”

Around July 4th, I was watching videos from the John Adams miniseries. I came across this video by David McCullough talking about John Adams and others, education, modern students, memories of his education and other subjects. It was a really interesting video to me.

If you or anyone else is interested he talks about the great men and women from our history being very flawed characters. Often plagued with doom and despair, but they kept going. He talks about optimism, and I think it applies to what you just said. It's from about 27:00 to 29:00 in this video. I thought it was kind of inspiring.

Forsooth! Thou hath postedeth most splendidly. It is most beauteous.

Methinks I shall pour a beaker from the sweet fruit of the tree, grapefruit and enjoy it again.

By my troth, thou are most kind.

You might like a song called “My Eden” by Yisabel. I’ve only ever heard it because a show I watched online used it for a theme.

Apparently also called “Another Heaven”

It sounds a little medieval

For some reason it reminds me of any soundtrack from the Lord of the Rings trilogy............

It sounds a little medieval I really love that sound! Many versions of Greensleeves are also faves. Your lady is very beautiful (blonde and brunette) and has a lovely voice. It's a beautiful song. Thanks for sharing! This is a version of Greensleeves that I like a lot by Loreena McKennitt. She sings it with such passion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4rvcZMY37I The Lady of Shalott by her is another beautiful one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80-kp6RDl94

I know you're speaking to GeronL, but that's how I found this Celtic music. Got onto a playlist of Hobbit music and came across the Adrian Von Ziegler music.
