Apparently William’s had issues with most of the roles he took on...but then considering his personal issues I'd expect they too played into the equations of how he saw himself in these roles. Changing wives as he did roles he played likely didn't help his view of life either. Seems he had a difficult time accepting or finding contentment with his lot in life no matter which direction it went or that he took it.
