I think I read that Jeff Bell is like the NJ population pro-abortion, but I may be mistaken. I know he was head and shoulders above Bill Bradley in 1978 though not in stature.

I would be very surprised if Jeff Bell were not pro-life. He is a conservative Presbyterian. He was a movement conservative in the 1960s and 1970s when I was very slightly acquainted with him. Although I cannot find it on Amazon, I have buried in my book collection a book by Jeff published about two years ago and describing the growth of the conservative movement to the rise of social issue conservatism.

Descriptions of Jeff often reference his loss to Bill Bradley in 1978 (for the same seat). The real story was his defeat that year of longtime "Republican" quisling US Senator Clifford Case, a public nuisance of the first order who was wrong on everything that counted.
