I wouldn’t say that if an accusation such as this proves false then the accuser should go to jail, because I am sure there are times when a parent may make such a charge honestly believing that accusation is true for whatever reason.
But if such an accusation can be shown to be maliciously false, planned and done on purpose to harm an innocent man, then yes, that accuser you go to prison for the same amount of time the victim would have been given IMO.
