My aunt served in the Marines during WWII.She died a few years back and at her wake was an honor guard at each side of her casket...they were older women dressed in Class As (don’t know if that’s what the Marines call them)...they were red rather than blue.My guess is that they were old enough to have served during the same period.I can’t recall if they were at attention or parade rest but it was an impressive...and moving...sight to this old SP5.
