I’ve been on-board with everything in this article. Having grown up in a “culture” of vigorous exercise, I have strived to maintain this into my early 60’s.

Benefits come AFTER a strenuous 2 or 3 days of workouts, when you are sore and tired and are just resting and chillin’ and eating like a horse for a couple days while you psyche yourself for the next exercise regimen ..

A MAN, regardless of age, should ALWAYS strive, at the least, to meet and exceed the minimum requirements of the US Army, or Marine Corps entrance level examination Physical Fitness Test.

Google it. Then, do what it takes to get there.

You won’t be sorry. You will be ready for anything !

"Downtime, if you do it right, is time well spent."

It's not "downtime" if you have to "do it right".

Old Dr. Peter Steincrohn had been preaching this for years.
