I do take somewhat of an exception to “But we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money? What’s interesting is the first group “worked for” their money, but the second didn’t.”
There are people who have worked hard and paid their taxes, but find themselves in need of assistance because of the economy or health issues. I do not begrudge these people food stamps or “welfare”. I do resent those who make it their career choice who are perfectly capable of earning a living.
In your estimation: What percentage of those on welfare are their by no fault of their own...and I mean “NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN?”
