Charles Simons and Tracy Lamar claim they were each bitten after being called to calm down the 'out of control' Emmy Award-winning journalist. The cable network continued to employ the senior international correspondent despite her 'history of becoming intoxicated and then abusive.' On Monday, Damon apologized in an email and wrote that she's 'beyond embarrassed.'

Bet she’s not the only CNN employee to be drinking heavily with their disastrous ratings. When will their sponsors realize that they aren’t selling much to people in airports?

Born in Boston, Damon graduated with honors from Robert College in Istanbul, Turkey in 1994, where her father, Dr. George H. Damon, Jr., was a teacher and middle school director from 1988 to 1998. An American, her father went from there to Isıkkent School in Izmir, and was then headmaster of the American Community School at Beirut from 2003 until his retirement in 2013.[7] Damon's mother, Joumana, is Syrian and grew up in Damascus.[8] Damon is the granddaughter of Muhsin al-Barazi, the former Syrian Kurd prime minister of Syria, who was executed in the 1949 military coup.[4] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arwa_Damon

I want to extent [sic] my sincerest apologies and deepest gratitude to all that were involved in helping me out, the letter reads. Some journalist! Can't even spell!
Its been an extremely stressful time, I was exhausted, I had not had proper food all day and clearly miscalculated how my body would handle the alcohol consumed.
Note the clever use of the passive ("...the alcohol consumed") rather than the active voice ("...the vast quantities of alcohol I guzzled down.")
Regards,

I’d drink heavily if I worked for CNN.

Seems to there are a lot of “journ-O-list that drink heavily and not just the left wing news organizations....
Maybe the fact that they are paid liars and tools of a agenda driven media complex that drives them to the bottle...
Makes you wonder how many are hooked on meds as well...
I’m surprised people like Jay Carney aren’t in a psych ward...
O’ wait you have to have a moral compass and the alibity to experiance shame first...he doesn’t qualify....

A friend of mine is an EMT, and she has a technique for dealing with really nasty patients: she threatens to use the largest caliper needle on them.

30 or 40 years ago, you couldn’t be a journalist unless you drank heavily.

The mistake here is expecting anything better from a journalist. The vast majority are low life libs who want the job so they can push their agenda down our throats.

Combine that with a desire to hide behind the power of editing if doing a video, or the protection of the editor if writing a column.
Some people are just not comfortable in a real live conversation where they can be challenged so they resort to these types of professions to wreak their revenge.

Note the clever use of the passive ("...the alcohol consumed") rather than the active voice ("...the vast quantities of alcohol I guzzled down.")Typical leftie non-apology.
It's never simply their fault. It's CNN's fault ". stressful time.. I was exhausted"; It's her environment's fault (no restaurants) "I had not had [sic] proper food"; and the insidious alcohol's fault that mysteriously entered her body - as you say: "alchohol consumed".
Plus, it's all about her, not the victims (EMTs).
She went on to say she is "being filled in on the details of my behavior. I am beyond embarrassed. My actions and words were entirely out of my character, and I hope that everyone can at some point forgive me."

Let’s hope she wasn’t stressed out and exhausted from a trip to Africa to cover the Ebola story.
