The car seemed to be at a roll and not going full- or half-speed, the way Tony was last night. I guess you have to use common sense, especially when you’re doing something risky. I’m not excusing Stewart’s past or current behavior in and out of the car, I’m just saying that the dead driver was not very smart in walking half-way down the track to yell at Stewart. He blocked the majority of the track with his car and his body and he’s wearing a black fire suit. Not a lot of time to see someone or react to a sudden obstacle.
