I hate to confess it but I used to be a huge Bruce fan, before he went politically stoopid.

After “The River” he jumped the shark.

There were a couple songs from “Nebraska” that I liked.

He was the first concert I ever went to, at The Cap Center in Landover MD.

1978.

He put on a 3 hour show.

But he later went crazy and I wandered away.

Ah don’t have to be ashamed. I can’t help but like some people that I know have totally polar views from me. There’s another one of Springsteen’s that I like. A melancholy one it seems. Can’t think of it offhand. Maybe I can try to pull it up. I really don’t know much of his music at all.

Oh thank you!

I’ve never met anyone else who agrees Bruce jumped the shark after “The River”

To this day, I listen to that album a lot. “Point Blank” sends shivers down my back and makes me cry. “Cadillac Ranch” makes me dance.
