I was surprised that “The Scarlet Letter” (1926) and Show Boat (1929 have not been released on DVD. “The Wind” (1928) seems only to be available in the PAL format used in Europe. I’ve seen “The Wind” and “Show Boat” in the theater.

I still have my VHS of “The Wind” that I bought in the late-1980s. Along with “Greed” and “Docks of New York.”

Always nice, though, to see silents screened at a theater, along with live musical accompaniment.
