Could you image the carnage if these sharks had Ebola?
I’ll watch just for the outside possibility of a DiBlasio or Schumer look-alike to get eaten by a shark.
And, of course, Sharknado: 2016 needs to be set in DC. . . imagine sharks, infesting Capitol Hill and the White House.
Well, I mean the ones with fins. . .
Of course the sharks won’t attack any lawyers......Professional Courtesy.
AWESOME.
Sharknado 2. Something more entertaining and realistic than listening to another Obama speech.
Cool!
Do they use Karl Rove for bait?
*Snort* [giggles] YES!
I imagine a sequel where the tornado goes over a sewer plant. You can probably guess the name . . .
Hubby went to see Sharknado in the movie theater when the MST3K "bots" were doing their thing. He enjoyed it. Mostly, he enjoyed the critiques of Tara Reid's acting ability, or, lack thereof.
Indeed. There’s a lot to read into a culture that resorts to deliberately making a tongue-in-cheek “schlock” movie to emulate a shared “bad movie event” experience. Not only does the contrived self-consciousness of the whole endeavor defeat the purpose, but it’s showing popular culture reaching a dead-end. Like a death wheeze.
This morning, I even saw some network morning news show happily touting this film, in the whole anticipation of the “event.” I know I probably sound like some grump who doesn’t want to join the fun party, but I really do find this sort of thing emblematic of cultural tiredness and decay. Which is paralleling the country’s social and political decay.
Are you for real? Where is the parent story? It`d be worth an internet hunt to see the little lefties cry over Sammy the Seal!
OH...SNAP!
Far be it from me to [cough] critique Tara Reid’s uh... “acting ability” and that’s all I’m going to say about it. [ahem]
“Talent” and “Tara Reid” should never be mentioned in the same sentence. It makes “talent” look bad.
And I am, of course, just kidding. She’s a real beauty, and from what I’ve seen in her movies, she really
isn’t all that bad an actor.
I forgot the /sarc tag :) Her acting skills could use some work for sure. The easiness on the eyes makes it less noticable. She did play her role in The Big Lebowski pretty well, but it was a role very suited to her looks and demeanor.
