An excellent idea.I've read that there are websites where this nation's (and perhaps Canada's as well) spoiled brats beg money from perfect strangers to fund their honeymoons,pay their tuition or buy their BMWs.I'd surely give $20 to a fund for this guy.
And what you say about the border patrol is true.I get to Canada fairly frequently and your border guards are always polite yet thorough.Coming home,OTOH,I often get snide,rude questions from *our* border guards.I guess if I spoke Spanish they (the US Border Guards) would be more civil.
I would happily kick in money for this poor guy stuck in a Mexican prison. I guess they have the space to house him, seeing as they don’t bother imprisoning their own criminals.
