Clinton was impeached 16 years ago when there was still some room for folks to vote according to values - that ended with the 2008 campaign. Now it is all about left or right - middle of the road democrats who used to occasionally vote republican have disappeared. Everything goes - smoking pot in the white house, rumors of the pres being gay, the disgusting lyrics of rap music that the pres adores - the ever increasing debt - nothing matters to dems anymore. They will continue to support dems until the economy completely collapses and then somehow blame it on racism and republicans.
The minute the Right attempts to discredit Obama, the ranks will close around him and the press will step up their protection. He is doing a pretty dang good job of discrediting himself to the rank and file. Impeachment will be trumpeted as the EVIL yes, racist, republicans trying to destroy a black president. As soother and neo have pointed out THAT will motivate the base, that is blacks, to come out to show support for him. It might feel good, but it will blow up in our faces. Anything remotely smacking of the right is reviled in this country by the popular culture and that is where the rank and file take their cues.
Yes - he raised 2 million this past weekend just because he mentioned our intent to impeach
Of course global warming is racist. If there were white people on islands that are sinking, we’d all drive hybrids. ;-)

I agree-it is the only method of extracting donatiions they have right now. He is acting like an employee who is covertly looking for another job-using up personal leave time without a good reason, paperwork turned in late or not at all, becoming secretive and withdrawn from other employees, avoiding time consuming job duties-all the signs are there, so let him run with it-maybe the jerk will quit like Nixon did. Either way, it isn’t endearing him to anyone...
I agree that many are seeing him as distracted or unwilling to do the work he needs to be doing - wanting to play golf, vacation and party instead, but us forcing the issue won’t work - the dems will double down and he will know he can go even farther with his outragious actions. The dems are saying let all the children of south american come here and we will feed, clothe, and house them.... they are insane - we can’t afford that - dems really are idiots
oh he won’t quit! he will extract every single benefit, every perk, everything he CAN get out of this gig, before he loafs off into the distance. He will always be popular and in demand, but he’s especially so bc of the station he holds now. They will need to be pried out of the WH.

I’m all for letting him continue to act just like an employee who is putting his resume out there and using his accrued personal time to go to interviews at other companies-an employee I’d be glad to see leave-so let him act like an ass and when his contract is up, he’s out with a bad reference. When someone who is bad for business is trashing themselves, don’t interfere...
Send back as many mojados as possible, then when he is gone and liberals have been eaten out of house and home by those illegals, we can probably ship the rest of the ungrateful bastards to their own or some other third world hellhole with no interference-I suppose I’m an ethnic traitor, but I’ve been brought up fresh out of sympathy for those people...

As an ex-prez, I don’t think he’ll ever be as popular as Bill Clinton, because he isn’t as engaging and smart-he isn’t as good a speaker, either no matter what his worshippers tell him.
The Clintons grabbed silverware and stuff when they were pried out, so I suppose the O’s will, too-they’ll need a small closed horse trailer just for Michelle and her wardrobe of trophy draperies and sofa skins...
Some people are still too dumb to realize I don’t have loyalty to a country my family hasn’t lived in for over two centuries...
