Beautiful cake!! Thanks! Got cute bee things from my SIL fir bday, she’s a great shopper!
I on,y know the hippy version!
Raised by wolves, were ya? ;-)
Purt near!! I’m not kidding, my dad had 8,5 acres and the only part that was cleared was immediately around the house. My school bus stop was at least a half mile away (only partially uphill, and no, not barefoot in the snow).
Now that I am out and about, it would behoove me to finish up the last of my thank you notes. People were so nice while I was recuperating. Meals, flowers, baked goodies. They are still nice now that I am out a bit. I am spoiled.
When I saw xs was on vacation, I had a fleeting thought about her birthday. My list is in a drawer downstairs and it didn’t behoove me at that moment to go check the date.
Happy Belated Birthday, xs! Hope it was happy.
I KNEW you were a bronie, I just knew it! LOL~! thanks!
Thanks, Ti, yes, it was a very nice bday. a few days at the beach and then home for my bday with the kids. xsboy sent me flowers, which is a first, and the girls got me Polish pottery. xshub got me a ruby pendant [my birthstone] and a dog treat jar with a back and tan Cavalier on it that looks just like Julius. xsfiance also brought flowers and a very sappy card that he wrote in which made me bawl. and we had a very nice dinner at the Gaylord at the National Harbor.
polish pottery? Wonder how many of our kinfolk it took to spin the wheel....
No, i’m not - just that the pattern has a familiar “feel” to it from some of the fancier stuff my ma used to have around
ah, sounds nice. xsfiance must be a keeper!
Are you a brony?
You get a pass since you have daughters....but otherwise I would be asking why you have so many photos on hand. ;^)
