Synthetic lawns will become more and more commonplace. Folks in the north can’t understand, but to not have to irrigate and take care of a lawn is a wonderful thing.

Synthetic lawns will become more and more commonplace.

I doubt it - plastic grass has been around since the '60s at least, and there have been multiple California droughts during that time. Every time, people mention rock gardens, cactus or synthetic lawns, but every lawn out there still seems to be real grass, including mine.

Southern California is a desert. Lawns don't belong there anyway.
