The worse thing you can do for a child his not disciplining them and not holding them responsible for their actions.

This is the essence of liberalism - no one is responsible. Shrinks know undisciplined kids grow up to need psychiatric care. In my liberal town, there are no vacancies for counseling, they are all booked up.

You may be on to something there. That is the ONLY WAY I can see how a group of people that make their living studying and (supposedly) understanding this stuff can conclude that spanking doesn’t work.
