I am very troubled by the Left's war on our culture and have been for a long time. Even though I'm not religious, I consider homosexuality immoral and against the laws of nature. i.e., likes repel, opposites attract. I think we should do what Thomas Jefferson suggested in his Notes on the State of Virginia and castrate males who engage in sodomy and put a hole no less than one half inch in diameter through the noses of female sodomites. This would certainly stem the tide of the spread of sexually transmitted diseases throughout the gay community. If it was good enough for Jefferson, then it's good enough for me. I think it's beyond reprehensible that we are changing thousands of years of human culture for the benefit of a tiny fraction and immoral segment of our culture. I WILL FIGHT THE LEFT WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING UNTIL I'M DEAD./rwa

if you were an alien race reading the earth’s media broadcasts to learn about us you’d come to the conclusion that earth was ruled by a magnificent collection of sexy black folks and magical, loving gays.

And the number of transgenders is probably in the tens of thousands. But that won’t stop the rest of society from being totally reshaped to accommodate them.

Because the “gay revolution” has nothing to do about gay people.

It’s about destroying Judo-Christianity.

for the mentally stunted that were to stoned during high school biology...

homosexuality is not genetic. it cannot be. if it were, it would have long since died out as a trait since it cannot, by definition, be passed on.

homosexuality is, by definition, a behavioral issue.

about 2% of this country are radical, self loathing, deviants who, thankfully, have a life expectancy of only 42 years.

Jefferson was going easy on them. Castration was suggested as an alternative to sentencing them to death.

Either way - I agree. Clearly homosexual behavior (and any other form of abnormal, non-procreative sex) breeds disease. Removing the urge to perform such unnatural activities is an act of compassion. Love thy enemy. Castration would help protect the individual and society as a whole.

It is unfortunate that there isn’t such an easy solution to help the female sodomites.

Because humans (like all animals) have a genetic drive to reproduce. you can only do that with the opposite gender. Even if a person doesn’t want to have kids, the base desire still draws us to at least want to be involved with the opposite gender in some way.

Homosexuality had always been a minuscule number of people that kept their activities off and out of sight. And for the most part, that worked out well enough. They knew what they were doing was really off the reservation, and they didnt make some effort to force people to accept it.

Gay activists today know that most people on their own would never want to be gay, that is why they are making this full-court press in movies, on tv, in books, and by criminalizing criticism of homosexuality to almost make it “cool” and more preferable to being normal. Look how edgy and alternative you will be! You can also claim instant victim status. Something really desirable to suburban white kids that desperately want to be in with other victim classes. They are using techniques used by pedophiles to coax kids into sexual situations by making it seem more normal, to make homosexuality to be the new cool subversion. The awesome way to stick it to your parents, stand out, and be popular.

That is the only way homosexuals can “reproduce” is through mental manipulation.

Being gay used to hold a certain secretive esoteric nature to it. Now that it is public, it’s no longer “different” or “unique”. The titillation factor is gone.

A conservative friend of mine recently noted to me how bizarre it will be a decade from now to find out that still just 2 percent of Americans are gay, ...

It will be interesting to see if this is an accurate prediction. If homosexuality is not a genetic fluke, but is influenced by environment, then it is entirely possible for the percentage of practitioners to increase.

Perhaps the number of people who say they are "gay" will remain constant, but the percentage who sometimes have anal sex with another guy will increase.

Saw a very illuminating post elsewhere recently: homosexuality is nature’s way of marking one for elimination from the gene pool.

When you look at it from a numbers standpoint, especially over the long-term, it’s a solid theory.

I think it's a great article. I've also wondered along these lines:

What strikes me is how invariant the number of homosexuals is. Over the past three or four decades, public awareness and acceptance of homosexuality has grown by leaps and bounds, yet none of this seems to have made any converts.

One would think so many more would be coming out of the closet but that's just not happening.

This is also a good point:

Let’s put it this way: which is a more important issue, a couple of hundred thousand gay marriages — or the millions of heterosexual couples who, for larger social reasons, are not getting married and not forming stable relationships, with all of the negative consequences for their own lives and the lives of their children?

So much more damage has been done to our society through no-fault divorce than could be done with a couple of guys pretending they are "married". If I could make marriage important again, culturally, in this country, I would. Letting some gays play house would act contrary to that but it would not destroy that important societal pillar by itself.

If this is true:

"Hence one of the well-noted contradictions of the left: that marriage is only something to be celebrated when gay people do it. To these leftists, homosexuals are only interesting insofar as they can be used as an instrument of subversion."

Then

"Perhaps it’s time to spend a little less time worrying about gay marriage and more time worrying about plain old regular marriage, among other cultural disasters."

this statement doesn't make much sense. Worrying about gay marriage is worrying about plain old regular marriage because gay marriage is being used to subvert regular marriage.
