The late Casey Kasem's body is missing, more than a month after the radio icon's death, according to his daughter.
A spokesperson for Kerri Kasem confirmed to ABC News that the legend's adult children have yet to see his body. Kasem died on June 15 at 82 years old after suffering from a form of dementia. An autopsy has also not been performed yet, the family said.
Jean Kasem denied to ABC News that his body is missing.
Jean Kasem, the radio personality's second wife, had been embroiled in a conflict with his children from a previous marriage over her husband's medical care for months before he died. She collected the body within 72 hours of his death.
Kerri Kasem was informed Thursday that Kasem's body was no longer at the mortuary, where it remained for a month.
Gaffney Mortuary also confirms that Kasem is no longer in their care.

I’m not trying to sound insensitive, all I’m saying is that we shouldn’t count on the Malaysian Government to find Casey Kasem.

Casey Kasem’s Body Reported Missing from Funeral Home: TMZ is reporting that Casey Kasem’s body – still unburied over a month after he passed away, has gone missing from a Tacoma, Wash., funeral home.
I’d suggest looking under the couch cushions. That’s where I always seem to find everything. Casey’s daughter Kerri says she believes his wife Jean stole the corpse and left the country, but the funeral home is saying “no problem, Casey will be right back after these messages from our sponsors.”

I had to double check to make sure this wasn’t a John Semmens story.
who has right of sepulcher, was Kasem under a guardianship? If not, wife probably does.
The headline sounds funny and makes great joke fodder, but for the parties actually involved I’m sure it isn’t one bit amusing.
