Dog meat was considered a delicacy there way back in the 60’s.

Next time, the locals should burn the dog thieves and keep the cannoli.

Street thief mentality. Why breed, which takes a bit of an investment in time and money, when you can steal from somebody else?

No. Dog meat has been popular in Viet Nam for a very long time, and now people have MORE money and are willing to pay more for dog meat, making it a more profitable item to steal as there is no legally, open market for aising dogs for human consumption.
