When my dad worked at this one timber company he said if you hadn’t heard a good rumor by 8:00 you were supposed to start one. Apparently the media must have all worked at that same company.

Was wondering how 100 could get on the same plane. Thought maybe another aids conference had just ended in Amsterdam. Should have just assumed the reporting was wrong. Lots of sensationalism surrounding this story.

According to the Associated Press, the exact number of individuals who were killed on their way to the conference is unconfirmed. However, Australian officials have noted that there is no doubt its a substantial number that includes medical scientists, doctors, people whove been to the forefront of dealing with AIDS across the world.
The cure for AIDS may have been on that plane, we just dont know, Trevor Stratton, an HIV/AIDS consultant who in Sydney for a pre-conference event, told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
