How many innocent people are shot by cops every year, including mistaken identities, or unnecessary shootings? Cops who can shoot a dog when it isn’t necessary will shoot people when it isn’t necessary, if they think they can get away with it.
Farmville is an actual place? Is it just up the road from Bingo Blitz, North Carolina?
I have grown to hate Farmville, just because of all the automatic invites and updates on Facebook.
Seriously, turn this stuff OFF folks.
Embarrass them? They cannot be embarrassed.
Funny how we don’t hear of letter carriers, UPS or FedEx delivery folks, being attacked by dogs. The police must have some sort of rabid dog attractant that they use.
"On June 27, 2014 a Prince Edward County Deputy was charged by a vicious dog at a residence while he was attempting civil paper service. The Deputy tried to get away from the dog but the animal lunged at him so he fired his weapon as required by training."
Of course, it certainly sounds like the guy went off the hinge. You would likely have just stood there and let him sink teeth into your arm and patted him on the head. Yes, "thugs" I tell you, "thugs"...
Why the police shoot dogs is puzzling. Are they trained to do that? I do not think so, at least they weren’t before Obama.
“Barney Fife shoots one of my dogs, he best leave the planet because I will find him and return the favor...slowly”
Bingo!!
Cop shoots dog while Family Held at Gunpoint
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/2331823/posts
The incident occurred in 2003.
The difference being, UPS or FedEx delivery men and letter carriers don’t have “qualified immunity* and aren’t given a gun.
Attacks do happen, but they are rare.
This is ridiculous. I’ve done work in the past that required going door-to-door and one should just expect to encounter many family dogs. Most bark a little and shuffle around, then settle down, but a very tiny percentage actually become threatening. The only vicious acting dogs I ever encountered were chained or behind a fence.
These cops should be prepared to encounter dogs and deal with them in some way other than shooting them. And there are people who dogs seem to instinctively trust, or not. That might have something to do with it when an arrogant cop enters someone’s yard.
These things also happen. However it hey do not justify the shooting of harmless pets, unarmed children and adults and whomever else officers take a fancy to shoot which activity is now SOP. A cop comes to your door there is a fair chance you, a pet, or one or more family members will die because the officer can say he “felt threatened” and be absolved of what for him is a recreational shoot.
Sad.
Absolutely!!! Do away with cops and let’s put you on the street. We will all feel much safer with an angry old guy that doesn’t shoot anything. I like that.
You just put your left or right arm up depending on whether you are left or right handed, on the one in about a several hundred thousand chance you MIGHT get bit.
There are no domestic dogs that can kill an armed, prepared man unless they are trained to do it.
How many of us have dogs that are trained to attack in a military type manner, none of us?
All dogs will attempt to intimidate rather than all out attack; it is their nature to protect their property from unknown invaders, that’s why we have them.
Plus they are better company and more trustworthy than 99.999% of the so called human race.
Do you support these nearly daily reports regarding cops shooting pets, many on their own properties, cops using military war vehicles and using tactics one would expect during brutal war time conditions?
