The answer to this problem is simple.

People should work until they are 75.

The idea that you can retire at 63 and then live another 25 years in retirement is not realistic. People are living and staying healthy longer. There is no reason not to work until 75.

Anybody below the age of 50 who thinks he will retire before 70 is dreaming.

Meh, I’d rather retire younger and then just drink myself to death. What’s the point of retiring if you are already incontinent and losing your marbles by the time you get there?
