Thank you so much for posting this.

My dad use to tell me about seeing the Dodgers back in his hometown of Brooklyn. He loved going to that stadium, and Yankee stadium.

I’ve mentioned to a few people here, that my father’s health is failing and we don’t expect him to be here at Christmas.

So seeing this on a rainy day when I couldn’t visit him today, has me weeping and connecting with him, when he was a younger man, and not a father. I don’t know if that makes sense, I’m just so happy to see this video.

I know what you mean. My mother was born and raised in Brooklyn and, with her father and older brother, went to many Dodger games at Ebbets Field and some at Yankee Stadium. Although my mother is now in 80s, take her to an Atlanta Braves spring training game in Orlando and she is like a teen again, cheering and booing with gusto and making sharp comments on the players and their skills.
