I think it was thoroughly depressing in the last few minutes. Everybody is scared, nobody will remember anything that happened this day (or any of Jack’s “save-the-days”) and our hero is off for a life of torture at the hands of his enemies.

I was half-expecting Jack to have on a suicide vest and blow up the helicopter at the end.
I suppose there’s a glimmer of hope that Jack will survive and return, but it’s grim.
I would watch another (abbreviated) series with Kate Morgan (despite being named after a porn star) provided she has the right sidekicks.
We know Jack can fly a helicopter so what’s to stop him from strangling the pilot, pushing out the bad guy and flying away? It was weird though, I was saying Chloe is Jack’s best friend, his only friend, except for Belichick, before they would say the same lines. Freaks my family out when I do that. I liked Morgan and had no idea of the porn name since I know nothing of it. Still seemed strange to have Benjamin Bratt be a bad guy.
