I've been watching the weed harvesters out on the lake today and they seem terribly inefficient. They have to return to shore to offload every 5 minutes or so and they're sloooooow.

How deep can that work ? Looks like if they added a bailer to that and dumped them on a small barge would work.

Your right about the inefficiency. They should pump it ashore like some dredges do.

They are slow. I just had an idea - how about a pontoon boat with extra capacity to dump the stuff into (like the grain harvesteors). The pontoon boat gets full, another one takes it’s place.

The harvesters are expensive and rare. I’m sure on any given day there are 8 pontoon boats just sitting at their docks.
