The infected have worms writhing under their skin and vicious stingers waiting to shoot out of their mouths at the slightest whiff of hemoglobin. The Strain isn't Twilight. The Strain isnt your average vampire show.
This much would have been obvious to anyone watching the series premiere Sunday night on FX. For starters, theres the story. A plane lands at JFK, then stops dead on the tarmac. As epidemiologist Ephraim Goodweather (the excellent Corey Stoll of House of Cards) soon discovers, everyone on board is deador so it seems. What Goodweather assumes to be a virus actually turns out to be a virulent strain of vampirismone that has secretly transformed most of the unconscious passengers into the bloodsucking undead and left behind a handful of survivors to morph more slowly (and graphically) as the parasitic bug consumes them from the inside out.

Wow! An actual scary story about vampires. Who would of thought? It seems Millenials and younger think of vampires are nice people who are just different.

That's because blood-sucking fiends who move in the dark of night are natural allies of LibProgs, so OF COURSE the mainstream image is cute-and-cuddly, even sparkly. . .
After all, Werewolves vote Republican

For me, the scariest vampire movie ever-—with bloodsuckers that have a demonically savage nature-—is “Thirty Days of Night.” I can’t watch that one alone at night.

30 Days of Night was a good idea and a good movie, and it even had noble humans and great vampires.

"30 Days of Night was a good idea and a good movie, and it even had noble humans and great vampires." You're right; many of the folks fighting the vampires turned out to be heroes. I liked that.
The bald, Asian-looking vampire with those razor teeth? I shudder here in broad daylight, LOL.

I'm just an accountant. You need a trained psychiatrist for your problem.
Seriously.
Find one quickly.

It seems Millenials and younger think of vampires are nice people who are just different. I think Hollywood did that on purpose to get young people used to blood-sucking liberal politicians. :)

I read the three books and have been hoping that they were made into a trilogy of movies. I think this will be even better.

Name calling? that's all you've got? Yawn.
Again, please seek help, ASAP with all the other liberals like Olbermann, Beckel, etc who seem to have some kind of obsession with bashing soccer.
(And I'm not wasting my time with anything else you have to say, so don't bother responding, or you'll be talking to yourself - which I realize may be SOP for you, but....)
