"What you wrote is utter BS. I loved the Ramones."

Good for you. Enjoy what you will. We all have our musical tastes, but the Ramones were just an over-hyped punk rock group that were promoted by their producer at a time they showed a difference from the mellow California sound (think Fleetwood Mac and others above). They don't have one song that will stand the test of time. Show me one song on a jukebox by the Ramones.

I don’t judge music by “if it’s played on a jukebox”.

That’s crazy.

You are giving your opinion. Not facts.

Many people love the Ramones. Many musicians are influenced by them. I believe their music and influence will stand the test of time.

Again, giving your opinion is of course fine. But stating your opinions as fact is absurd.

Definitely not my yardstick, but there's Disco on a jukebox.

Not sure where you hang out, navy dude, but most bars that play rock and roll have Ramones on the Juke.

When they were inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame Springsteen, Dave Grohl, and I believe Elvis Costello played a short medley of their songs.

Most likely to find on a juke box. Blitzkrieg Bop. Now I Wanna be Sedated. Sheena is a Punk Rocker, Rock and Roll High School.

Fleetwood Mac were much better as a blues band (early days) than a fern bar “soft rock” act.
