Maradona: Germany full of itself
Humiliation to Germany could be Brazil's long term salvation
I expect the combined global viewing audience Sunday to be in excess of 3 billion viewers.
We have a titanic battle unfolding between Germany and Argentina.
Most of the German squad is drawn from Bayern Munich. Great all around talent. The finest players the Bundesliga has ever offered.
Its become more offensive. Football is no longer boring. And when teams are tied, that simply reflects the high quality of their play.
I love the way the sport has grown in both quality and spectator appeal.
I wouldn’t compare past Bayern Munich teams. The German team always has drawn from Bayern Munich, they made up of a lot of the 1990 World Cup Champion team.
Though it’s true, they look to be a great team, even beating the USA team, the greatest American soccer team ever.
Who cares? But Brazil has a huge stake in tomorrow’s beauty contest if only to redeem its lost pride.
Third place is better than to have nothing to show for this tournament.
Augenthaler, Klinsmann, Mattheus, Rudi Voller. I hardly buy the argument that this team could defeat past Bayern Munich teams.
