Before park visitors go down the slide, they'll have to go up: 264 stairs to a platform higher than the Statue of Liberty and Niagara Falls.
Before even being allowed to climb the stairs, visitors must step onto a scale to ensure the combined weight of the two or three people who will be on a single raft does not exceed 550 pounds. After passing that, a park worker reads a two-page list that is part warning and part disclaimer.
One of the warnings listed is the possibility of death.

Can that be placed at the border and slide each child back into Mexico?
To: Citizen Zed
Move it to D.C., and force you too look at pictures of the nations decline all the way down an actual slippery slope.
I would then replace the water at the bottom with a brick wall...for that extra bit of realism.

Is that a 180 degree slope?

In order to prepare for the opening, the slide needed some adjustments. The rafts, which were originally intended to hold four people, now hold three. The slope of the hill was changed to a "more gentle" 22 degrees, but was heightened by 11 feet. The structure is 168 feet tall. They made it safer, put nets up, you'd be crazy not to go on it.

I grew up before water parks existed - we called them lakes. That contraption is way too high for this old geezer but when I was 16, no problem.

I live close by....in less than an hour I could be on that ride.
I fairly confident I never will, though.
Sadly, I don’t think it will stay open for very long...somebody will get severely hurt or killed.

Did you see my last response? There is not a chance in this world that I will ever get on that thing. For starters, the climb up there alone would kill me. The wait during that climb would kill me if the climb hadn’t already. I’m not a big fan of long lines. We already have Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun that we’ll never go to because I just can’t handle stuff like that. I’m a puker. It’s not happening. Never never never.
