Antonio Gramsci's (1881-1937) "long march through the institutions" was advanced in the U.S. by the Frankfort School's ideology of cultural marxism starting in the 1930s. We are reaping the 2nd harvest that 1st came to fruition during the 1960s and which that generation sowed then. The "heterosexual revolution" of the 1960s paved the way for the "homosexual revolution" during the 2010s. And I know you know this, because the Bible preached against heterosexual sin as much as it did against homosexual sin. You are so right - we laughed at first. I rarely watch network TV or Disney Channel. Occassionally I pause while surfing and am horrified at the wall-2-wall presentation, and acceptance, of fornication/ adultery.
But it's a fight we have to win. Gay sex is disintegrative sex: it ruptures our essential bonds with God, with the opposite sex, and with future generations. Either this society will stop open sodomy, or this society will collapse, and the successor-society will stop it.
As so many others have said, I am beginning to feel like a 1st-2nd century Christian in the Roman Empire here in the U.S. I don't know my own country anymore. Our pastor's sermon last Sunday was entitled "Dual Citizenship". He was reminding us that we are 1st citizens of the Kingdom of God and only secondly U.S. citizens.
