What has been happening the last few years when the price of electricity and food has been skyrocketing??

It's just more government lies. The fed's define "core inflation" as inflation without considering fuel or food prices. How convenient.

So your electricity bill might jump 20% and your food bill might jump 20%, and the fed's would say nope, no inflation here.

I'm surprised they haven't redefined the CPI to be just the price of chinese electronic goods. I should be quiet lest they get ideas.
