Practice makes perfect.....post on....
good for you!!
have you read Blood Feud? I highly recommend it. it’s a quick read and entertaining.
A+++ not negative, merely the truth!
Yo’ means we bees havin’ to learn this?
Comment from a dear friend who was the Dean of Admissions of the nation’s largest community college: The after high school “We bees gwine to collie” crowd as a rule spends the first full year in remedial English courses that are specifically designed to bring them up to a 10th grade reading level.
BTW, check out the apostrophe in the Free Republic donation solicitation above:
“... it’s people ...”?
I have no problem with kids spending the first semester in remedial English. my youngest daughter has a learning disability and spent a semester in remedial English in her first year of community college, despite the fact that she went to private school and had a tutor throughout HS. That it is common just means that the public school system is a failure.
I am looking for something to read. Haven’t been able to concentrate to read till this past weekend. Read a couple of books. Light, mindless reading. I will check it out. Love kindle, I can buy it from my chair at home and get it instantly.
yes, that’s the only way to go, though I was brought reluctantly to the kindlebooks, and only bc it came with the ipad. Also, JKRowling’s second in the series of Cormoran Strike detective novels is out, I enjoyed the first one awhile back so bought and started the second yesterday.
For entertainment value alone, I like him. He is serious about his hockey.
Haha - a saucy one to begin the day!
I wonder how quickly Joan Rivers will lose her tv show?
Me too - thinking I will download blood feud today. I hadn’t thought to ask if any of you had read it
The spouse is off to Comcast for new boxes and hopefully a better deal or we are out of there. We’ve been customers for over 20 years but the rates keep going up and quality keeps going down. No DVR, no special services unless you count HD which irks me that they charge extra for it(like touch tone phone charges for 25 years when that’s all anyone has had). Our cable went out after the power went out so we were without for about 6 hours yesterday. I’m glad it wasn’t very hot. We got internet back but not cable.
Not to keep bringing up Blood Feud, but I will! it verifies how thin-skinned and grudge-bearing that lot is, and you KNOW there will be repercussions for this!
++ we can hope that is what will happen.
I had read the Amateur, and then the NYPost excerpts piqued my interest in this. There were parts that I full on LOLed. Lots of quotes, not for attribution, but given the blood-thirsty individuals involved, not at all surprising, and I believe every word!
nothing about Hillary’s lesboicism though he says they have not slept together in dozens of years now.
oh power out when it’s hot is a concern! I have a freezer full of cookies outside in the garage and we better not lose power this summer.
A transformer caught fire and knocked us out for hours. It was nice and quiet. But I was worried about it getting hot and the dogs. I knew we could always go to the mall but I have yet to make the service dogs vests for them to accompany us.
