Neymar Returns to Brazil Camp in Ambulance
The 22-year-old striker was kneed by Colombia defender Juan Camilo Zuniga late in the second half at the Arena Castelao, fracturing his third vertebra.

He was carried off the field in tears on a stretcher and "screamed in pain in the dressing room" before being taken to the hospital, the Brazilian confederation said in a statement early Saturday.

I was really, really angered by Zuniga’s foul on Neymar - and they didn't even call it. Zuniga wasn't even looking at the ball, and could have paralyzed Neymar with that move. The referring was horrible. This is futbol, not the NFL.

The ref in that match was horrible. He should have issued a few yellow cards early on, and the rough tackling of Neymar throughout the match would have been averted.

It seems that the refs who do not tolerate fouls early have much smoother sailing the rest of the way; and I think the players prefer it that way. It sure makes the matches more enjoyable to watch.
