Then when he got her down, he tussled for a while trying to get her on her stomach so he could cuff her, but he couldn’t manage this. That’s when he punched at her four times, seeming to strike her in the arms. After a hesitation, he punched three more times, this time seeming to contact her lower right jaw. Then she seemed to let down her guard, perhaps surrendering, and he turned her over and cuffed her.
