Well put.
Thank you.
My parents are American, they weren’t born here, they had to wait, fill out uncounted forms, have a sponsor, swear not to ask for anything from the American government for five years and convince a judge to allow them to immigrate. Once here they worked hard to build a life, and become part of the greatest country on earth and instill that pride and desire in their children. No my parents weren’t born here, but I have found them to be more American than the countless wankers I have met that were born here and have no understanding of what it is to be part of the greatest nation on earth. Happy Birthday America and GOD BLESS YOU and keep you safe from all the wankers in the world foreign and domestic!
Thanks I needed that

Excellent essay, Chef Carlo. Your positive attitude is a great blessing!
Thank you for putting your thoughts into words, it was beautiful. Happy Independence Day to you and yours.
My Dad, Uncles and Aunt served in the US Military. My sister and I both did. We still believe in the American Dream that lured our ancestors to this country. We are Americans, as is my son.
The new invaders of our southern borders are not coming to pursue the old dream, they are coming for the socialist freebies of the perverted dream. Not to be free to work and build, but free to sit on their collectivist asses and be waited on.
What they don't realize is that they are not people, but vectors, projectiles in a biological attack on America. Who is orchestrating this attack and who is allowing it? I have my theories, as an old S-3. Anyone else?
