Malwarebytes kept crashing when i would run a scan to remove conduit.
I just use the free version. It works great no problems.
Someone has misinformed you... Sadly, well unless you are really into this sort of thing, it's only the black Thai lesbian midget pr0n that's really safe.
[Malwarebytes kept crashing when i would run a scan to remove conduit.]
That I don’t understand at all. Are we talking about the same thing here? First installing malwarebytes (the free version) and then letting the program completely remove conduit and any other malware you have on your computer. You might have more than one.
For me it took a few minutes to clean everything out but it sure was worth the wait. Those malware bugs are a real bother.
I didn’t have a problem until it was apparent that I had search conduit. So it got the blame.
There were some other malware on there as well, so it could be that conduit coincided with another bug.
All I know is that malwarebytes crashed and Spybot didn’t in that situation. And by the time I was done I was just glad it was over.
Otherwise, malwarebytes was great. Like I told someone in a private reply— it hadn’t been updated in a week or so, so maybe that played a role as well.
Add the Administrator account so you can log in there and install the anti spyware programs. Your own account may be compromised.
Get superantispyware at http://www.superantispyware.com
Download the free version. Enable the trial pro version and uncheck the extra software they try to slip in like the toolbars.
